Who We Are

“Eurasia Now” is an imperative! It is a challenge and a gauntlet thrown down to both the Church and to its members. It is a call to action which compels us to re-evaluate our world and our role in it.

Eurasia Now is made up of a group of Cross-cultural workers (both clergy and people coming from various professional, work and educational backgrounds). Although the majority of our team come from the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, there are other organizations (such as Next Level International, various educational institutions funded independently throughout the region, other national church groups, and non-governmental organizations) that make up our team.

Creativity is encouraged and valued within Eurasia Now. From starting businesses in Restricted Access Nations, to setting up internet cafés outside of a university campus in Romania, to providing life and health education –connected with youth outreach in Estonia, to drug and alcohol rehabilitation in Russia and Siberia, to establishing truly indigenous national congregations throughout the region and providing both initial and on-going leadership development for their leaders, Eurasia Now personnel are forging ahead in 21st century outreach.

In Eurasia Now, we reject any colonial views of cross-cultural ministry and life. There is no desire to export western society or practices. We are looking to bring a truly Christian worldview and to encourage local cultural expression of that –in practice, structure, theology and leadership. Eurasia Now personnel are encouraged to begin developing their own national leadership to replace themselves as soon as possible and to provide leadership and input in areas where there are no local assets or ministries.

Perhaps you have been wondering how your unique talents, experience and interests could be used in Kingdom purposes. Obviously, we believe that God has uniquely shaped each of us to make such contributions. We are looking for new partners who will support us both prayerfully and financially; as well as, people who will join our cross-cultural ministry team. Consider how you can become a part of “Eurasia Now”!
