Dan & Mardell The MacTavish's are senior associate pastors of the International Christian Assembly in Bucharest. This multi-cultural church community provides a setting for evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development and offers a new spiritual dynamic among the emerging cultural generation. Oversight is given to sister church relationships, incoming teams and along with national workers, Dorin and Carmen Gradinaru, relief and development work as well as ChildCARE Plus sponsorships.
Family: Kim and Mark Steinfield, presently living in Armenia, are involved in Bible College education and leadership development. Jordan lives in Vancouver and works with the Stantec architectural group. Stephanie attends the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in her second year of advanced nursing.

Prayer Focus:

• As Romania expects to join the European Union in January 2007, there are many mixed feelings, concerns and a changing dynamic. Because of lack of hope and economic pressure, many families already have at least one member living outside of Romania to help provide financially. Pray that choices will be made not out of fear and insecurity but with the desire to fulfill God's purposes. Pray that those who remain and minister here will be faithful to that call and will receive adequate provision to do so.
• Functional plans to develop financial resources from within Romania to benefit ministry personnel and endeavours
• Greater influence in the diversifying cultural groups in Bucharest and in the social, political, educational and business arenas of the nation.
