Lina, David & Cassia The Boyds serve in Germany where David is the Regional Director for Eurasia. The Eurasia Region has over 1.4 billion people and is one of the least reached areas of the globe.

Although many western Churches trace their origins back to Europe and Christian history there, it is the sad truth that most of Europe is either post-Christian and apathetic to our message or openly anti-Christian.

In fact, 34 of the 49 countries with a decreasing Christian population in the world are found in Eurasia. Also, 38 of the 50 most Gospel Resistant countries in the world are in Eurasia and 5 of the 6 countries labeled Super Resistant to the Gospel are found here.

Eurasia is one of the world's neediest mission fields, but is ignored by most because of its culture and wealth. We need to remind ourselves that missions is about making the Gospel known and to develop healthy believers and congregations and not just to provide humanitarian aid alone.

David provides supervision and leadership to all of our PAOC personnel in Europe, Western Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

Prayer Focus:

• Pray for wisdom as we develop new and creative means of reaching countries with closed or restricted access.
• Pray for safety with David?s travels throughout the region.
• Pray for their integration into German society, language and that appropriate housing and office space be obtained.
• Pray that Cassia integrates well into her new school, the Black Forest Academy.
• Pray for the success of special leadership seminars being planned for the Ukraine and Russia.
• Pray for his ongoing participation in ongoing front-line evangelism throughout the region.
• Pray for wisdom in dealing with national leaders and churches in the various countries of the region.
